Andrew Hogan brings a wealth of knowledge and international experience to his clients projects and builds lasting relationships through highly successful project delivery. Chris has more than 15 years’ experience in client side project management. He has a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end developments using different procurement methodologies with the ability to work independently and within teams to develop and deliver iconic projects.
Chris has proven success in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from major development to the value of $400m+ to smaller scale tenancy fit-outs. He has strong technical knowledge and experience in managing design, administering contracts, value engineering, buildability, programming, procurement, risk, ongoing operations and stakeholder management.

Jason Szeto

Jason graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (honours) in Construction Management. His experience in the property and construction industry has developed through successful delivery in multi residential developments, commercial facilities as well as hospitality projects. Jason has end-to-end experience and is well-versed with setting development briefs, cost reporting and forecasting, procurement management and contract management and administration. He has a strong eye for detail to ensure development quality, budgets and programmes are met.

Chris Roche

Chris Roche has worked in the development industry for over 24 years, initiating and managing a portfolio of medium and large scale residential and mixed-use projects both in Australia and the UK. Prior to joining Point Polaris, Chris worked at Fridcorp, Mirvac Group and Baracon Group as Development Manager where he was involved in several large projects in Melbourne. Chris’ more recent achievements include the acquisition and delivery of Fridcorp’s prestigious elm, Lilli, Avenue & Eve projects. Chris currently leads Fridcorp’s Sydney office and is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of the company’s BEYOND project in Hurstville, Sydney.

Charles Bryant

Charles is a property and finance professional with almost 20 years of experience across construction, property development and investment banking. He has extensive property development and structured finance capabilities obtained from roles with BlackRock Investment Management, Brookfield Multiplex, Probuild and John Holland Group. Charles has been directly involved in the delivery and financing of over $4 billion of commercial and residential projects throughout Australia.

Charles was at the forefront assisting Asia domiciled developers with their establishment and expansion into Australia, sourcing, setting, financing and overseeing delivery of many of the residential ’supertowers’ recently completed in Melbourne, Australia.

Notable Finance Deals

Residential Apartment & Hotel Tower, Docklands.

Charles was able to fast-track commencement of construction of a $400 million residential apartment and hotel development by way of a credit enhancement through the use of an insurance policy to underwrite the ‘On Completion’ value of the hotel. This enhancement to the underlying security of the development removed the additional timeframe that would have otherwise been required to sell down additional residential apartments to meet pre-sale hurdle requirements.

Residential Apartment Tower, Melbourne.

Charles was able attain a senior debt facility to fund the development of a $250 million residential apartment tower from an offshore bank by utilizing a corporate guarantee from the developer. The local debt providers were uncomfortable with the high proportion of offshore pre-sales and were not willing to recognise a large proportion of these pre-sales.

The offshore financier was comfortable with the provision of a corporate guarantee as a credit enhancement to enable the developer to maximise the debt facility available to fund the development.

With 20 years’ experience in Business Development, PR and Marketing in the Property, Architecture & Engineering sectors, Justin is responsible for client engagement and relationship strategies and solutions, as well as helping steer marketing and PR direction at Point Polaris.
