Point Polaris has continued to drive the construction delivery of the Longhouse at 17-21 Lynch Street Hawthorn with significant progress being achieved over the past 2 months;
The project has been split into two separable portions in order to navigate completion and settlement around a latent condition impacting 10 apartments (approximately 12% of the development);
Internal fit out works are tracking on programme with client defect inspections for Level 1 to commence this week ahead of the first round of purchaser inspections;
Point Polaris is focused on achieving Statement of Compliance well ahead of the application for Occupancy Permit in addition to assist the Contractor with the conditions preceding Practical Completion;
An exciting public art piece is being developed with commissioned artist, Stephen Hennessy, which will form part of the prominent elevation with view lines spanning back to Burwood Road.
Designed by Jam Architects, completion of Stage 1 is forecast for the second half of September 2018 which will see the delivery of 81 apartments including a home office and retail spaces.
