OVERVIEW
The eight-floor, 82-apartment development from Sunbright Development Australia, designed by award-winning architects Hayball, caters for multi-generational living and is particularly geared to the Asian market.
A number of design features cater specifically for the ageing market, such as a walking track and productive landscape on the rooftop, so residents can grow vegetables and keep active. There is also to be a mahjong room, residents’ lounge and Chinese wellbeing centre on the ground floor.
Each apartment is self-contained, but has a shared entrance, so residents can live close to their family, but still maintain their privacy.
Multi-generational living, a strong tradition in Asian communities, is also catered for at the development.
A “dual-key” option, that combined a one-bedroom apartment with a studio apartment to allow different generations to live together but with some independence proved popular with buyers.
